About Us Town Supply Company, Inc. is a privately owned and operated business, which sells commercial doors, architectural hardware, washroom partitions and accessories, fire
extinguishers and cabinets to general contractors. Located in Phoenixville, PA, our facility stocks an assortment of hollow metal frames, wood doors, builder's hardware, accessories and fire extinguishers and cabinets. Our product knowledge and understanding of applications is based upon more than 40 years experience in dealing with commercial contractors who have benefited from our expertise. Town Supply excels in understanding architectural requirements and the unique demands of the contractor, and is dedicated to responding quickly to delivery needs. Whether it be specification writing, job site delivery, counter pick up, or toilet partition installation, it is our goal to supply the right product for the right application, ensuring on -time delivery. Town Supply is dedicated to providing exceptional service at a competitive price. History It was 1947 when Town Supply Company opened its general line, full service hardware in Phoenixville, PA. The business grew and prospered, supplying the community with everything a traditional hardware store had to offer.  By the mid-1960's, the company expanded and added an "Architectural Hardware section." Products such as hinges, locks, exit devices, door closers, kickplates and thresholds became standard inventory items. This division, marketed primarily to commercial contractors, grew quickly and by the late 1970's a "UL Licensed" hollow metal fabrication shop was added. Doors and frames could be modified “in house” to meet specific requirements.
During the 1980’s, wood doors were added to inventory to meet the growing demand for a "total door and hardware" package. Toilet partitions and washroom accessories were also added in the 1980's, and to complement this product offering, the early 1990's saw the inclusion of an "installation service" for toilet compartments and washroom accessories. In 1997, the retail store was closed to enable the company to fully dedicate its resources to the commercial products offered by Town Supply today. |
